Available for a short time each spring, these sessions offer a truly special experience set within breathtaking ancient woodland.
Bluebell mini’s are intentionally limited, allowing space for a slower pace, gentle guidance and a beautifully calm atmosphere.
Your family in soft light, natural connection and the quiet elegance of the season. Serving Saffron Walden and the surrounding areas, these bluebell photoshoots create timeless + luxurious keepsake of a fleeting moment that returns only once a year.

Well behaved dogs very welcome (there is a busy road nearby)
I would recommend these sessions for “calmer” children. ( What a ridiculous thing to say but if you know, you know) If your children are on the wilder, more energetic side, a daisy meadow session is highly recommended where there is more space to run and play.

What should we wear?
Once you have booked you will receive a guide about colours, textures, and coordination to help you look natural, comfortable, and timeless.What if my children don’t behave or cooperate?
Kids will be kids, but I have had years and years of experience working with children, even if it does not seem to be perfect, you can trust that I have the patience and the “tricks’ the still capture the magic.Where will the photoshoot take place?
The location will be local to Saffron Walden but not in the town itself. I will let you know location details near to the time once I have checked the blooms are blooming and the location is still looking good this year. One thing I will say now is there is no disabled or pushchair access to the woodland, it’s very rugged and wild so be prepared to climb styles and navigate a few nettles.How long will the session last and what happens during it?
You will receive a guide with more details on it but the session will last 30 mins and it will be a full on 30 mins to get full use of the time.When will we receive our images and how many will we get?
You will receive your images within 21 days of the session. The gallery will be fully edited and there will be about 10-20 images ( depending on the size of your family). You will be able to choose 3 digital images from this gallery as that’s what’s included in your package and you will have the option to buy additional digital images, prints or framed prints after you have viewed your gallery.What about the Weather!!!!
Ah the weather…. as anything in the UK we are subject to what our tempremental weather is doing. I will be on weather watch the week before your session and will keep you updated of any concerns. If it turns out that there are strong winds or heavy rain then we will either bring the session forward or find another day. Obvoiusly we are limited with the time frame of bluebells in bloom so if the worst comes to the worst then a refund will be issued or you can move your session to the Daisy Meadows or Autumn Woodland sessions.
