I offer a relaxed and comfortable newborn photography experience, styled with soft light, earthy tones, and warm, fluffy blankets. Sessions take place in my light and airy studio, located on the border of Essex and Cambridgeshire, creating a calm and welcoming space to capture your baby’s earliest moments.

For families who value photographs that capture the in-between moments….. the heartfelt cuddles, the gentle connections, and those tiny little toes you never want to forget. My approach focuses on preserving the natural beauty of these first few weeks, documenting the quiet glances and genuine emotions that make your family’s story so special.

When to book your Newborn Photoshoot

For the organised ones of us all (this didn’t include me when I was expecting) the best time to book your newborn photoshoot is during your pregnancy, ideally just after you 20 week scan so that you have a clear due date and are hopefully over the morning sickness phase (this also did not include me)!!

Newborn sessions are usually scheduled for your due date so this gives an indication of when baby will arrive. Once your baby is born and you are both home, the exact session date can be confirmed, making the whole experience smooth, calm, and enjoyable for the whole family.

If your baby is already here - that’s ok, let me know as soon as possible so we can catch the natural newborn scrunch.

Newborn Sessions are normally booked in when your baby is between 5 and 15 days old, as this is when they are typically sleepier and naturally curl into those beautiful, peaceful poses parents love. You can find availibility here

Your session will be baby-led. This means that the flow will be what baby is content in doing. Feeding, cuddles and sleep will all be intermittent and on demand when baby needs them.

Booking in advance helps ensure availability around your due date and allows plenty of time to plan a relaxed, comfortable session.

Your Newborn photoshoot Experience

Set within Willow trees next to a private lake just outside of Saffron Walden, Essex my comfortable and light photography studio has been designed for inviting families in for a welcoming and relaxing experience. Take the time to sit back with a cup of tea and some little treats while your baby expertly is wrapped up in nearly 10 years of newborn photography experience. Siblings are welcome to play with toys whilst they wait and will be invited in to have a few “cuddles” with baby. Feeding and parent cuddles will be on demand - time and care will be taken to create the perfect keepsake memories that you have come to invest in.

Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priority during every newborn photoshoot. With nearly 10 years of experience working with newborns, I take great care to create a calm, warm, and gentle environment where your little one can relax naturally.

Every pose is done slowly and safely, always following your baby’s cues and ensuring they remain comfortable throughout the session.

Feeding or parent cuddles breaks will always be available to you.
