What to expect:
I will be sending you confirmation of where the photoshoot will be about 7 days before….. this time of year the scenery is so changeable, I want to make sure we have the best location with the best Autumn colours.
Please arrive 5 minutes before the start of your session, if you are early please be mindful that there may be a session happening so not to interrupt or distract. I will come to meet you ready for your session.
Your session will last for 30 minutes and in this time we will be playing, chatting, cuddling up and moving between a few different spots.
What to wear.
Autumn is full of colour and to get the very best out of natures palette you should choose colours to compliment your environment….
Best to start with you!!
Want to know the secret to feeling and looking comfortable in a photoshoot...... Floaty clothes!!
A loosefitting, floaty dress is so versatile! It looks great, it flutters with the movement of children and the breeze, its flexible and lays in all the right place and looks nice on any body! Treat your self.... if you feel good you will look good!
Once you have decided what to wear it’s easier to fit the family in around you. use complimenting colours that go well together. Try not to have lots of same colour. Again there are endless ideas on Pinterest
I have a couple of dresses in my client closet that would look great in Autumn paired with a chunky knit and ankle boot. If you would like to borrow anything then please let me know so I can bring it along or arrange for you to pick it up the week before.
How to prepare Your Family.
This is quite an important step but a really simple one….. you could have everyone try on their outfit a few days before so that there are no last minute “this is too small” or “this is too itchy” comments.
Make sure everyone is well rested and fed. you can bring a drinks and snakes with you too to keep little tummies topped up.
Layer up!!
With the weather getting colder it’s really important to keep every one happy and warm so a few tips… put multiple layers on children if they feel the cold… 2 vests/long sleeve t shirts, tights under leggings or jeans 2 pairs of socks etc or even a knitted cardigan over the top of a jumper!
After the shoot I will be busy editing your images and they will be ready 28 days after your session.
I cant wait to see you at your photoshoot, if you have any extra questions then please just ask…. I want you to feel prepared and have a relaxing experience.
